RTR is the focal point for a variety of
committees that provide support to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities
in general.

St. Louis Captioned Media

RTR's Deaf Community Center (DCC)
Our deaf "home" for the RTR-DCC (Deaf Community Center) is located in the Telegraph Professional Building at 2716 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, MO.
RTR's Deaf Community
Center has begun offering a variety of services that will be announced in the
near future. One of the exciting services, the Deaf Diabetic Support Group, has
been established and meets every month on second Saturday. If you want to
participate in the Deaf Diabetic Support Group, please contact
Jolanda Lawrence.
There will also be free counseling services provided at the DCC
by Karyn Houston who is a certified counselor for mental health services. She
will be more than happy to serve you as a counselor at no charge. She also has
two professional mentors which one is a licensed Psychiatrist and the other is a
licensed Social Worker, as she is working towards her counseling licensure.
She will be accepting clients who are deaf or hard of hearing of all ages with
mental/emotional, family problems, personal, or other issues. If you
would like counseling services, please contact
Karyn Houston. There will be more exciting services coming soon as we, the DCC Committee, are working very hard to provide various services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. We will continue to update and add new services that will soon be announced.
