RTR is the focal point for a variety of committees that provide support to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities in general.

St. Louis Captioned Media (click on image below to visit)


Are you looking for Captioned Films in the St. Louis Metro area? Your search is over! Click on the link above to view the most up to date listings of captioned films, showcasing the hottest films that Hollywood has to offer!  Would you like to participate in the organizational structure of RTR's Captioned Media? Contact Thomas Russell, Captioned Media Chairperson, today and let him know that you're interested!

RTR's Deaf Community Center (DCC) 
Our deaf "home" for the RTR-DCC (Deaf Community Center) is located in the Telegraph Professional Building at 2716 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, MO.
RTR's Deaf Community Center has begun offering a variety of services that will be announced in the near future. One of the exciting services, the Deaf Diabetic Support Group, has been established and meets every month on second Saturday.  If you want to participate in the Deaf Diabetic Support Group, please contact Jolanda Lawrence.

There will also be free counseling services provided at the DCC by Karyn Houston who is a certified counselor for mental health services. She will be more than happy to serve you as a counselor at no charge. She also has two professional mentors which one is a licensed Psychiatrist and the other is a licensed Social Worker, as she is working towards her counseling licensure.  She will be accepting clients who are deaf or hard of hearing of all ages with mental/emotional, family problems,  personal, or other issues.  If you would like counseling services, please contact Karyn Houston. There will be more exciting services coming soon as we, the DCC Committee, are working very hard to provide various services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. We will continue to update and add new services that will soon be announced.

RTR's Awards Banquet
RTR has been recognizing quality volunteer efforts, community participation, and the work of talented people for more than 30 years.  our Annual Awards Dinner is an event that helps to commemorate the great strides that happen in the Deaf and Hard of hearing Community.  Look for more information about our next Awards Dinner event soon!

RTR Fundraising
RTR is committed to providing the St. Louis-area Deaf and Hard of Hearing community with the best opportunity to share in information and personal growth thru the transfer of knowledge.  We are always interested in securing financial support to assist us in that endeavour and as such, we have a dedicated Fundraising Committee.  Please contact us today if you would like to join the enthusiastic group of individuals that make up the RTR Fundraising Committee.
